Description:
Rosie

8yr old grade roan mare. She had her teeth done in the fall, has good solid feet, no scars, good bone and is pretty to boot.



Rosie has obviously had someone spend a lot of time on her making her into a nice mount. She can be a little touchy/watchy. I have yet to find a bad hole in her other than that. So no your 5yr old beginner will probably not jive with her. She will get along with a confident older youth or adult.



We just got back from 3 days of brandin calves in some rough country and she handled it all great. She has more go than whoa and doesn’t wear out or quit easily. She can really trot out and cover some country. I believe she probably has had some prior cutting training because she rides around like a cutter.



I have roped calves in the pasture on her, drug calves to the fire, and heeled on her in the arena.



She is lightly patterned on the barrels & poles too but isn’t going to be a 1D horse by any means, lol her short stature isn’t made for that. She has handled everything we have thrown at her well.



Reason for selling is the people who own her bought her for their younger kid and she is just too much horse for her right now. It’s no fault of Rosie’s.
