Description:
We are hiring a Ranch Hand for the Allens Ranch near Lander, Wyoming. The Allen family has lived and worked in the Lander valley for six generations. Our home ranch outside of Lander supports our wilderness guest ranch in the Wind River Mountains, which we’ve been operating since 1973. We are looking for a strong member to join our team on the home ranch this summer/fall.



This job includes wage, housing and utilities, living and working in the shadows of the beautiful Wind River Mountains. Duties include irrigating, harvesting hay, feeding & handling horses, operating tractors, operating ATV’s, light mechanic work, fencing, learning about livestock health and nutrition and western agriculture.



Strong work ethic, common sense, and eagerness to learn are required. Work will begin in April and go through October. There is potential for this to turn into a year round position, if we find the right fit.
