14.5" Custom - Ralph Shimon

This saddle features a finished 14.5" seat, 3" cantle, big 14" swells with leg undercuts, post horn with new leather dally wrap, leather rope strap, 3 way in-skirt rigging, 4 long leather ties, 6 3/4" gullet, QH bars, and weight is around 35lbs.

Ok folks here is an old monster! Ralph Shimon saddles were (and still are) some of the toughest buggers you’ll ever find. He built his saddles to sit ya deep in the seat and have comfort while in the saddle. He no longer makes them and sold his shop to another talented maker DW Dixon. Dixon still builds off Ralphs designs and charges around $4K+ for a new one to be built. And in reality his worth is worth every penny. The way him and Ralph built saddles are truly a work of art. This is in a hard to find 14.5" seat.

NOTE - The rigging was replaced on this. I have absolutely no idea why. It’s basically the same as the original with a different style. Don’t miss this screaming deal on a custom Shimon Saddle.
