Description:
Thomas Cattle Company is a rapidly growing cow/calf, yearling operation looking for a driven, proven Ranch Foreman with significant experience. The ideal candidate will be organized and a highly effective communicator that drives their team to meet deadlines and meet company goals. This position is an integral part of a team that manages a very busy, diversified ranch.

TCC is a large ranch one hour south of Boise, ID. TCC runs a large Angus cow/calf herd, yearling program, and does some backgrounding. It is a fast-paced work environment that strives for excellence in all we do. Our cow/calf operation is sizable and requires continual attention to detail and planning for success of the operation. Ranch Foreman will provide recommendations for a successful plan throughout the life cycles of the operation during the year and implement decided upon plan with their team.



Ranch Foreman Duties include but not limited to:

• At least 5 years’ experience managing ranches

• Leader willing to lead team from the front

• Hiring/Managing crew with company goals in mind

• Self-starter/highly motivated

• Keep detailed records of pasture rotation

• Capable of sorting cattle within 50 lbs of weight class

• Making financial decisions in partnership with owners

• Excellent communication skills

• Efficient delegation of tasks and completion follow through





Role includes company housing and utilities

Company vehicle and trailer provided

Pay is highly competitive – DOE - $48,000 – $84,000 annual
