Description:
Turbine is a 6-year-old grandson of Play Gun in which someone bought for me at the 2022 Shelman Family Horse sale in Burns, Oregon. Hip #46

He’s a beautiful and well-bred gelding who was bought for $21,000. Unfortunately, he was sold with a very large sarcoid which was positioned on his back underneath where the saddle goes. It was obviously very uncomfortable for him, and we have since had it successfully removed.

He vet checked clean but still has many behavioral issues probably due to the pain he endured in his early years due to the sarcoid.

For instance, he’s difficult to catch, saddle and load. He will kick at you when you saddle and moves in circles to avoid being mounted. He will buck and has erratic behavior when ridden.

We view him as too dangerous and unpredictable to remain in our ranch’s riding string.
