Her sire is our beautiful Registered black Percheron stallion (pictured); Her dam is a Registered cowbred /reining bred APHA mare (Hollywood Dun It, Doc Bar, Mr Gunsmoke breeding). Buttermilk’s sire has sired many top ranch and cow horses as well as field hunters, trail horses and rodeo pickup horses. They look like big, stout, good looking Quarter Horses only are quieter, easier to train, bigger, stronger and have a LOT BETTER feet and bone. They are literally ’born broke’, are not reactive, have no buck and offer very little resistance. Buttermilk’s dam’s sire is pictured working a cow. The black stallion pictured is TINY, her registered Percheron sire. This buckskin mare is thicker and heavier than most of the draft crosses we raise. She will be a big, stout, extra strong mare with eye catching color that will make her stand out anywhere she goes. She stands 15.1 now and will mature around 15.2-16 hands and will weigh around 1400#. She wears a size #2 shoe now. This is one big, beautiful girl with a wonderful disposition. Like every horse we raise and sell, she is guaranteed 100% healthy and sound. She is ranch broke, gentle every day, has never offered to buck and has had a lot of pasture and mountain riding. She will go anywhere you point her head. She has had no arena riding, but she would sure go that direction if someone wanted to. She is a beautiful mover and very athletic -- not heavy on her front-end like so many draft crosses. The YouTube video shows how coordinated she is. She just never puts a foot in the wrong place. She is eligible for several warmblood and cross-bred registries. We will document her breeding. She has excellent manners; She ties, loads, hauls, bathes, you can lead horses off of her.
