He is just the right size at 14.2H, and just the right age at 12. He’s seasoned and seen about everything, but still has years and years left in front of him. He is a big stout guy, but not so far off the ground that he’s hard to reach! He is easy to get your saddle up on and easy to get on and off of, but he is stout enough and big boned enough to carry just about any size rider comfortably, his big ol wide barrel will fill out even the longest legs! Oreo originally hails from Ol Mexico, and being from down there... he has seen more just plain using miles than most horses have! He has been ridden and used on the daily, and has seen all sorts of terrain and all sorts of sites! Most recently he has been ridden by a young boy sorting in the pens, and he is the kind you can just leave tied to the fence, hop right on and just go! He has been turned out for weeks before, and you can always just grab him and go - he is no nonsense, he knows his job, and not much of anything phases him. He has a decent handle and would be a fun horse for the entry level playdays, or to learn to swing a rope off of and track the dummy and the slow trotters and rope your first practice steer off of. He is one of those unique horses, that you can practically change the planet he’s on - and he just looks each way, takes a big breath, and then acts like you pulled him up out of his stall and are right at home. He has been to a lot of places and seen a lot of different things Not much of anything bothers this one! Oreo has front shoes on, and was just shod last week, and he also wormed. He is in great shape, a little on the fat side, and is ready to go to work doing whatever job you have for him.
