Brisket is the total package—gentle, versatile, and ready to go in any direction. He’s one-hand broke, with an easy, comfortable trot and lope, picking up his leads effortlessly in both directions. He neck reins smoothly, side-passes with ease, and backs up willingly, making him a pleasure to ride.



Over the past six months, I’ve taken Brisket all over the mountains, where he’s proven to be a solid, sure-footed trail horse. He confidently navigates creeks, mud, and fallen logs and handles road traffic with ease. He’s also been used for ranch work—checking cattle, working the stockyards, and even throwing a rope of him to catch calves.



Before I bought him, Brisket was ridden in English tack and was doing well over small jumps, showing just how adaptable he is. Whether you’re looking for a reliable trail partner, a handy ranch horse, or a prospect for other disciplines, Brisket has the experience and temperament to excel in just about anything you ask of him.
