Description:
This handsome Red/White intact male has matured and is now serious about implementing his 30 days of training with a professional stock dog trainer.The next step of his journey will be towards honing his skills as a ranch dog or cattle/sheep dog trialer. His basic obedience skills are complimented with his flank commands and a strong recall and down while working stock. He "loads up", is crate and kennel trained, and has been raised around young children and other dogs. He’s very content to lie next to you on the porch and be your best buddy until he’s called to work ~~ then he’s up and ready to go. He will need addtional training to hone his herding skills and to slow him down a bit ~~ He’s easy to train as he aims to please and responds well to praise. His basic stockdog training was started on goats and he has been introduced to cattle. A YouTube video of him working goats is available upon request.
