Haying: 10 Room And Board: TBD Phone#: 530-708-5603 click to view fullsize image Description: Experienced Ranch Manager that is an accomplished Cattleman and accomplished Horseman, seeking small to large operations for a long-term position on the right Ranch that is in search of a reliable and dedicated Manager with a large scope of day to day operations of running a ranch combined with education and hands on experience. Can perform all duties of day to day operation which includes; all aspects of cattle, low stress handling, doctoring, herd health, nutrition and range management. Hire and training a crew, onboarding as well as setting forth ranch personnel rules and safety protocols if need be. Working with and understanding BLM, US Forestry contracts along with litigation and mediating if need be. Budgeting, record keeping, buying supplies such as equipment, feed, vaccines, fencing materials etc... as well as buying and selling of livestock including marketing and sales. Am experienced and understand fluently with haying as well as Infrastructure such as fencing, corrals and all that applies with building and repairing. Can operate most Farm equipment as Swathers, Hay rakes, Bailers, Blades and Disc. No till drills, Road Graders, Land-Plane, etc... Excavators, Backhoes, Loader, Extensive knowledge in doctoring and herd health along with extensive knowledge of nutrition. Have managed from 300-to over 3000 head of cattle and have worked for absentee owner as well as owner on property. Have experience in managing or running a crew of cowboys/Hands of up to 30 including H2A workers as well.(Can handle the paperwork process if need be on employees). *Can bring or come with 1-2 very honest, reliable and dedicated Ranch Hands if needed! *Have extensive experience with the (NRCHA) Reined Working Cow horse/Ranch horse professionally shown and trained the California Bridle Horse, understanding fluently bloodlines and breeding. Have Been an AQHA Judge for Ranch Horse competition. Managed a remuda of ranch horses along with Broodmares and can manage a barn of show horses.
