Description:
We cannot say enough good things about Jester. He is easy to ride, in the arena he stands to be mounted, walks off nicely every time, has a nice jog, lopes nice circles, takes his leads, rides on a loose rein, has a nice stop, knows leg cues, backs up, spins both directions, and side passes both ways. Opens and closes gates. He will really ride around when asked to, but also rides super calm, quiet and collected, with a nice headset. Jester has seen lots of outside miles. He goes through mud, up and down the hills, ditches, deep woods over the logs, bridges, obstacles. Jester is great out on the trails and through town. He is safe through heavy traffic, parades, waving flags and banners, bicycles, motorcycles, and loud music and fireworks. He is brave alone and good with a group. He is familiar with wildlife, dogs, pigs, cattle, sheep, goats, ducks, roosters, deer, guinea’s. Has been ridden around and exposed to farm equipment. Jester has a great start in barrel racing and has been hauled this past year being seasoned and to experience the jackpot atmosphere. Has been to weekend races and does well with overnights. He is running a good solid consistent pattern, running 4D times locally and is ready to go on with and continue to be seasoned. He is a push style horse. Jester has sale barn experience with cattle and recently started on the sled. Jester is a quick learner and has the right mindset to be a rope horse, 4H, HS all around, or a days work on the ranch. He is quiet and gentle, loves attention, is easy to catch, stands tied all day, stands to be brushed, feet cleaned, saddled, and bridled. Jester also stands good for the farrier and veterinarian, loads good whether stock or slant type trailer, hauls well, is good in a stall or pastures well, he is good with both mares and geldings. 100% sound, clean legged, no past injuries. Recent lameness exam done at Strain Equine Services. Kept UTD on chiropractor, shots, dental, shoes. He is legged up, rode 4-5 days a week year round. Jester is a great all-around horse that deserves the best.
