Description:
Looking to hire a qualified Ranch Hand for our ranch in Sprague River, OR. This is a cow/calf and yearling operation that runs spring through fall at Sprague River, then down to California for the winter.



The ideal candidate should have knowledge of all aspects of ranching to include flood irrigation/ wheel line operations, build and maintain fences and crossings, management and proper treatment of cattle, basic mechanics/welding, and equipment operations.



Cattle handling is done primarily horseback, requiring the candidate to be a solid horseman. Applicants generally bring their own horses to accomplish the job, and shoe their own; this is not a requirement as company horses are available. This is NOT an opportunity for individuals who have limited availability/resources/experience. This IS an opportunity for someone to further their knowledge of the beef industry with a fast-paced and organized operation.



Benefits of the position include a company provided vehicle, trailer, and ATV for ranch use, housing and utilities, medical benefits (with additional AirMed coverage), feeding of horses.
