15.5" C.W. Cross - Roping/Ranch saddle

This saddle features a finished 15.5" padded leather seat, 3" cantle, 6 leather ties, post horn with leather dally wrap, stainless rigging, 6 1/2" gullet, QH bars, rawhide wrapped wood tree, back cinch, new front cinch, and weight is around 35lbs.

Where are my saddle collectors!!! Or better yet someone that has owned one of the C.W. Cross saddles. If you know what this is you’ll be grabbing it fast. This saddle was made in 1969 and will outlast us all!! This saddle was built in a time where the builders built them to last for generations. The leather is thick and treated well! The horn has never been roped off, and the saddle is solid as a rock! Good luck wearing this monster out. Plain and simply put, grab this old monster while you can. What a saddle.

C.W. Cross opened the store in 1878 in Ogden, Utah. C.W. Cross came to Utah at the age of 17 after completing a saddle and harness apprenticeship in England. After his death, his sons Charlie, Ike and Goog took over the business. Kenneth Cross, a grandson of C.W. Cross, purchased the store and ran the business with his wife, Beverly, before turning it over in the mid-1980s to his sons Tony and Craig. Unfortunately, after 126-years of operating the old business decides to call it quits with lack of sales.
