Calving Help / General Ranch Hand

Bar T Bar Ranches, located in Northern Arizona is seeking 2-3 seasonal employees for help with calving and general ranch duties. Position starts February 1st and would end the 1st of May, with the opportunity to stay on thru spring works for the right individuals.

We calve on open pastures and live in a camp with 1 to 2 other people wherever the cattle are located. Also have bunkhouse for when not in camp. Both Horses and ATV’s used. No night calving but this is a daylight till dark job. You will have scheduled days off through out the calving season. Must have 2-3 work references, and resume.

Required skills:

Prior calving experience a must

Ability to lift over 100lbs

Ability to keep accurate calving records

Ability to work in all types of weather

Ability to take direction and communicate issues as they arise

General herd health and knowledge of vet supplies

Low stress livestock handling skills

Horseback skills/ your own gear

Valid drivers license, clean driving record, must be able to pass a drug test
