His Registered name is Steady Lil Gunner, he is affectionately known as Scooby around our barn because of his fun and in your pocket personality. He is a 2015 AQHA Sorrel Gelding and he is sired by the 8 million dollar NRHA sire Gunners Special Nite LTE $235,000. His mother is Steady Winder a daughter of Steady Tradition. Scooby is fully trained and shown in the reining and would excel amazingly in the ranch riding and ranch versatility classes. Scooby walks in the show pen quiet and patient. He has smooth lead departures, beautiful circles with smooth and easy speed transitions, turns well, easy lead changer and has a big run and stop. Scooby can go to the show pen, go on a walk around the town or on a relaxing evening trail ride. He is the perfect size to get on and off standing at 14.2h. Down the trail he is quiet, confident and goes where you point him. Scooby goes up and down hills, through thick brush, crosses water, the bridge and has seen all the commotion around our ranch and nothing fazes him. He is truly one hand broke. Easy to catch and gentle to be around. Clip his face or legs and he will just stand there and fall asleep. He has had lots of professional training throughout his life making him so easy to ride and guide in the arena or down the trail. We have thrown ropes off him, drug the barrel and log, he’s good with the tarp being on him and walking over it. You can rope his legs and he doesn’t panic, you can swing the ball around him and he is easy going and chill with it all. Scooby has been around cattle and could go to the roping arena if you choose that route. Scooby is well rounded, extremely well trained and most of all he stays gentle and has a fun personality. This is a great opportunity to have the chance to own such a fun gelding that is just 10 years old. Gentle with time off, safe for most anyone and suitable for a youth.
