Description:
Large, family-owned and operated cow/calf outfit located in the badlands of eastern Montana/ western North Dakota. Looking for ranch hand or couple for the long term.



Looking for someone with cattle and ranch experience, along with horse experience as we do a lot of riding. Need to be able to work well with others as well as be able to do things on your own. Need to be reliable and responsible with good communication skills.



Expectations/Duties:

-calving cows/heifers (tagging, vaccinations)

-pairing out on horseback

-feeding (bale bed, bale processor)

-hauling pairs with goosenecks

-putting up some hay

-moving cattle in large pastures

-general maintenance of equipment

-maintenance and building of fence

-general upkeep of ranches

-roping/doctoring in pasture (not required but preferred)



Prefer someone that has own horses but if not, we have ranch horses available. CDL and welding skills would be a plus but not required.

Housing would be included on the ranch.



Salary would be based on experience. Competitive wages.
