It’s a new year, and if acquiring a new horse has been on your mind, let me introduce you to this absolutely dreamy gelding The Iresistable One (appropriately named) AQHA #5763486 and lovingly referred to as “Romeo.”

I became acquainted with Romeo several years ago when he was with Ashleigh Martin at Ashleigh Martin Performance Horses here in Texas. He was sold to a family in New York state where he still resides. Life changes have led Romeo’s family to make the decision to offer him to someone who has more time to enjoy him. This is a special horse and an incredible opportunity for anyone who has been looking for a high caliber gelding being offered by private sale. In an age of online horse auctions, this is a rare opportunity.

Romeo is a big, classy gelding. He stands just over 15.3 hands and is turning nine this year. He is in the prime of his life! Nice pedigree too filled with pleasure and cowbred horses from Zippo Pine Bar to Sonny Dee Bar and Two Eyed Jack! Romeo was trained as a reiner, and he has all the fancy buttons (see his video). He is a well-mannered, gentle, broke gelding who will best suit a confident beginner level rider who can appreciate his level of training. He has been lightly shown and used for local 4-h events, but for the past several years has been mainly used as a trail horse and lesson pony. He has been ridden by people of all ages, including children. He is familiar with farm life: other livestock, equipment, dogs, etc. This gelding is the epitome of handsome and versatile. He could easily go back to the show pen. He’d make a rock star cowboy dressage or ranch versatility / ranch riding prospect. Make him a mounted patrol horse, use him on the ranch or just enjoy him out on the trails. This incredible gelding could go any direction! Don’t miss him! Located in Belmont, NY.
