Seeking Live-In Property Maintenance / Caretaker for rural, private, gated community near Locust Grove, OK



Position requires application of basic and some advanced technical skills and knowledge to safely operate and maintain ranch machinery and equipment, manage property landscaping, and perform miscellaneous maintenance duties. Duties include the operation and maintenance of water system, roads, bridges, recreational areas, facilities, equipment, tools, machinery, refuse collection and disposal, and supervision of area security. Compensation Package of $55K/yr is total package of $34K/yr salary (based on experience), plus provided housing with utilities and internet paid, and potential bonus.



Skills and Competencies

• Experience with water systems, ranch equipment, mowing, and general maintenance

• Possess a valid State of Oklahoma Driver’s License

• DEQ certifications preferred, but not required

• Able to use basic hand tools properly and safely

• Landscaping, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge

• Communicates effectively and follows instructions in written and verbal formats

• Good interpersonal and time management skills

• Must be able to meet physical requirements and working conditions of typical maintenance/caretaker duties

• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
