Having left the corporate environment over a year ago in exchange for outdoor work, I have achieved better mental health and purpose in my life and seek to now adopt a more sustainable lifestyle outside the city.



I’m Christian, physically active, and single with no kids or pets. I would need housing and a good (ideally reformed) church nearby.



While my ranch experience is limited to three months, I can adapt and learn quickly when given proper instructions. I got my current job by biking to a nearby tree service place and asking if they had work and then quickly learning how to drive a trailer, something I’d never done before. I brought that same attitude and initiative to my past ranch experience, during which I developed basic proficiency with a tractor and skid steer, learned how to care for cattle and horses on an elementary level, and helped complete the construction of a tiny house on the property. My contracting work ended in an unfortunate manner for reasons unrelated to any bad performance or behavior, and I am willing to discuss my termination to avoid any appearance of dishonesty.



My two business degrees could potentially be of use on the financial side of things as well, but mainly I just paid a lot of money to get good grades and a diploma which has done almost nothing for me.



I can’t have exposure to wheat, so if you grow it or have a feedlot that’s a no-go. Contained exposure such as feeding individual animals is a possibility depending on the circumstances, as I’ve done that in the past.



Thank you for reading this far, and please know that I’m interested not just in ranch work but any similar position that would let me be outdoors and physically active. I’m looking for something in Texas or another state that’s not too cold or leftist, but I’m open to suggestions.
