Minnie is a 13 year old, 14.3HH grade roan Appaloosa mare. This little lady is the epitome of a true beginner horse! Laid back, patient, kind and most of all safe for toddlers to your great grandmother! No horse experience is needed to get along with her! Minnie has more whoa than go, but will travel out anywhere you go with a laid back stride. She has the sweetest little pony lope that is slow, steady and the easiest to sit. You can steer her with your pinky finger on the rein, she’s that light and broke. WTL with no bridle, stop at the word “whoa” and reverse with the slightest pressure. She will walk for miles with her head low and on a loose rein. She never gets startled, and is never in a hurry. Minnie is as experienced as a trail horse as you’ll ever find and is adaptable to every situation. Crosses water, bridges and anything else of the sort without hesitation. Never gets buddy or barn sour, and you can trust she will take care of beginner riders. We have done trail competition course like a pro, carried flags, rode in town, and out in the forests, still no one is better behaved than Minnie. Yes, I know you’ve probably convinced yourself you don’t want a mare, but Minnie isn’t not a normal mare and you will change your perspective on mares, she has zero attitude, no mood swings and gets along with every horse she has ever been with. If you didn’t know she was a mare, you would have thought she’s a gelding! Minnie is an excellent choice for first time horse owners, to teach them the ropes, or a confidence builder for anyone wanting to just get back to the love of riding again!
