Asher

AQHA 2016 Frenchman Diamondblu Bay Gelding

Asher stands at 16 hands tall and is built like a Mac truck weighing about 1350 pounds. He is a nice thick, sturdy built with nice legs and feet. He’s currently shod all the way around.

Asher has been on overnight trail rides, week long trail rides, packed saddle bags, and tied to the picket line overnight. Asher will trail ride alone, in small groups, as well as large groups. He is use to traffic, ATV’s, heavy machinery and dogs. He will travel the trails with ease, go through the creeks, over bridges and up and down the big cliffs. Asher will neck rein or you can ride him 2 handed, he has a nice trot and a really nice slow lope. Stops when asked and backs up. Asher has pushed cattle around in the fields and been roped off of a little.

On the ground Asher has great ground manners and will be patient and respectful everyday. He stands tied quietly, stands for farrier, to groom, tack up and baths. He jumps right in the trailer and unloads easily. He will stand at a mounting block for you to get on and off and doesn’t move until asked.

Asher is a very personable horse and is very enjoyable to have around the barn. Currently Asher is turned out on a large pasture with many other horses and gets along great with them all, he has also been stalled with zero issues. Easy to catch, you ask? Yes he will be the first one to you and drops his head for the halter. He loves attention and is always wanting to please. Asher has no vices, he’s sane, honest and sound.

We invite anyone and everyone to come meet and ride Asher at our barn in Henderson, Kentucky.
