Description:
Houret Cattle Co., Inc. is looking for an experienced cowboy/ranch hand for its Central California and Southern Oregon ranches.



This company operates cow/calf and yearling operations. The applicant will need to be a self starter and have the ability to work alone without direction as well as with others. Looking for someone with long term goals. Tasks will be outlined, however there will be no on the job training. The applicant must be able to recognize, rope and treat cattle horseback outside in big country. Be familiar with and have experience with building and repairing fences and corrals. Must have experience or the ability to operate machinery necessary for the job. Must be able to maintain and repair stock water systems. The applicant will need to migrate from winter in California to summer in Oregon. Housing and utilities will be provided along with a vehicle, stock trailer and ATV. Applicant should have 3-5 horses that all tasks can be accomplished on. Feed and shoeing supplies will be provided.



Applicant MUST have a strong work ethic, a sense of responsibility and dedication, a valid driver’s license, and be drug free. If you have met all of these qualifications, please send your resume AND references to phouret@gmail.com.
