Description:
Mountain View Livestock is located in North Central Montana on the Rocky Mountain Front. We are currently looking for the right person to join our operation.



We calve typically 700hd and also run between 200-350 yearling. We are looking for someone to start out this calving season, hopefully starting the end of January/February. Experience not necessary as long as willing to listen and learn. Individual must possess positive attitude, willing to receive constructive criticism, strong work ethic, flexibility. Individual will be required to work as a team as well as independently.



We also operate a trucking business, transporting livestock and hay primarily in state. CDL is not required but would be a bonus, as well as the ability/ Willingness to acquire CDL (no DUI/drug record).

We operate a livestock mineral business that we primarily sell mineral, salt, lick tubs, misc.



Cattle worked primarily on foot or ATV.

Primary tasks would include calving/ feeding/ doctoring/ fencing/ mechanic work/ equipment maintenance/ haying/ etc.



The operations are located on both sides of Choteau. The town offers most small-town amenities and is within an hour of Great Falls. If you are interested, please inquire. References required. Willing to pay the right individual based on experience/ willingness to listen and learn.

If spring and summer turn dry and our dryland hay is poor, there will not be much haying and the ability to keep both employees will be very difficult past haying and spring shipping to pasture.
