RiBear Cattle Co. is searching for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Ranch Hand/Cowboy. This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to contribute to the stewardship of a thriving cattle operation.



More Than Just a Cowboy:

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for the well-being of our herd, ensuring their health and productivity. This includes:

* Animal Husbandry: Implementing best practices in animal care, including nutrition, health monitoring, and preventative measures.

* Ranch Operations: Participating in all aspects of ranch life, from cattle handling and pasture management to maintaining ranch infrastructure.

* Horsemanship: Demonstrating exceptional horsemanship skills with the ability to safely and effectively work with horses in varying terrain.

Essential Qualities:

* A Love for the Land: A genuine passion for agriculture, livestock, and the outdoors.

* Resourcefulness & Problem-Solving: The ability to think on your feet and find creative solutions to challenges.

* Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to hard work, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a physically demanding environment.

* Teamwork & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in handling cattle with a focus on sound animal husbandry practices.

* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in various ranch tasks, including fencing, roping, welding, and the safe operation of farm equipment.

* Cattle Health Expertise: Experience in cattle health management, including diagnostics, treatment, and record-keeping.

Required:

* Ownership of 2-3 horses suitable for ranch work.
