Description:
Smokey is a solid seasoned trail gelding that is one hand broke and easy to guide. He will lead the group or follow in place as you enjoy the scenery. Smokey is just 6 years old and he stands 15.1hh. Smokey saddles up the same way every time and he doesn’t have any buck or bad silly habits. He is currently barefoot and he can go shod or barefoot, whichever you prefer. Smokey has smooth gaits making him very comfortable to ride. He will walk, trot and lope both directions in the arena. He picks up his leads naturally and is an easy fluid mover. Smokey would excel in a variety of disciplines and he would even look stellar under English tack. He has a great foundation on him and the possibilities are truly endless. We have ridden him everywhere on our property, down the highway with cars and semis flying by at 75mph and he doesn’t get rattled or stirred up. He’s been exposed to all the commotion around our place from the kids, strollers, bikes, toys, carts, dogs, heavy equipment and he’s even goat broke. This is a unique gelding that is easy to ride, gentle to handle and one that makes your ride pleasurable. Smokey will go up or down steep hills, through the creek, across the bridge and teeter totter, over logs, step up on the big rock block and just goes where you point him and he guides easily.
