My name is Hayden Bass,

I知 seeking to hire onto a ranch, cow/calf operation, or cattle job following the completion of my college degree in June.



I am the first one in my family who is trying to go full time in agricultural work, specifically in beef cattle production, and have a little experience under my belt, but I am looking for a job that would be willing to teach me more about ranching, cowboying, and the how to make a good hand in the beef production world.



I have worked at Intermountain Livestock Exchange in La Grande since October of 2022, as well as on a custom haying outfit the summer of 2024 in Paisley Oregon. I understand the operation of a few different tractors and balers, as well as some basic cattle behaviors.



The degree I will be completing June of 2025 is Agricultural Entrepreneurship at Eastern Oregon University, which is how I fell into the agriculture world, both from the degree itself but also from my good friends who are mostly all ranchers themselves.



I pride myself in my work ethic, and am extremely eager to learn more about making myself a good hand in the ranching world.



I don稚 have hardly any experience around horses, roping, or doctoring cattle, in a summary I知 about as green as they come, but like I previously mentioned I知 willing to work harder than anyone else, and want to learn whatever I can more than anything.



I知 looking for work in Eastern Oregon, but am willing to stretch just about anywhere if that痴 what it takes to find someone to willing to teach me the skills required to become a part of this world.



I知 excited for this step in life, and looking forward to connecting with new people.
