Description:
Holly is a classy, big, blazed face sorrel mare we have to offer. Standing at 16 HH Holly has the size and the strength along with the correct foundation work started on her to be a great fit in any program. This past fall we used Holly in our outfitting camps as a pack horse and packed all kinds of loads on her, including meat and horns in the roughest of country that Wyoming has to offer. Holly has a solid 30 days of riding on her and will continue being ridden until the sale is over. She is not always easy to catch in a big pen, but when we separate her off, we have zero issues. Holly has the potential to go in any direction you want to take her, including a potential guest horse in the near future. She handles time off well and remembers everything taught like it was yesterday. Holly was the pack horse in Joe’s famous story of being on a cliff with nowhere to go in the middle of the night and they all made it back safely to camp without a scratch. She is exposed to our draft stallion, Cactus, and is due in April/May. Holly loads with ease, crosses logs, streams and ok to shoe. We will hold for 10 days without charge and are willing to help organize hauling from the ranch. Phone calls or text messages are encouraged.
