The 3F Ranch in south central SD has openings available for colt starting, tuneups and problem horses. Our emphasis is on training ranch and rope horses, giving your horse the tools to be ready for the branding pen, roping the wild ones on the range, or for you to take your horse farther in the performance world. Your horse will have the opportunity to have REAL life ranch and roping experience: doctoring, gathering, holding, sorting, learning to stand tied off, etc. on live cattle and riding many miles on or with different terrain.

-25 years experience with all ages and many types of horses

-$1600 for minimum of 45 days working/riding (51 days of being cared for)

- hay and grain provided

-farrier and any vet costs are client’s responsibility

Potential client is welcome to come check out our facilities and ride with us beforehand.

Additionally, we are willing to teach interested individuals how to do cattle work on horseback and doctor safely, at our ranch or yours. (Separate fee)
