Description:
Full-time Ranch Hand position available December15th. We are a cow/calf/hay ranch in central Montana. This is not a management position nor full-time cowboy position.



Ranch duties include but are not limited to working with & feeding cattle, calving, herd health, irrigation, haying, fencing, operating machinery and machinery maintenance, heavy lifting may be required on some tasks. Cattle are worked on horseback and with ATV’s. Employees are required to work independently and with others.



Applicant must be self-motivated, dependable, trustworthy, and a team player. A high school diploma is required along with a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. Applicant must have at least one year of ranching experience.



The wage package includes a monthly salary, housing in our rural town (small house with 2 bedroom), paid utilities (water, electricity, and garbage), beef when the ranch butchers, and a pick up for ranch work. This is a smoke-free business.



Families/couples are welcome, but the position is for one full-time person. There are opportunities for work for a spouse/partner in nearby towns.
