Skills and Experience:

Hay Production & Land Management:

Extensive experience in hay production, including cutting, baling, and storage to maximize quality and yield.

Skilled in irrigation management, pasture rotation, and soil health to optimize forage production.

Knowledgeable in weed and pond mitigation to maintain land productivity.

Proficient in fencing, landscaping, and general maintenance to support efficient ranch operations.

Heavy Equipment Operation:

Experienced in operating tractors, balers, loaders, skid steers, front-end loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, dump trucks, spreader trucks, and various trailers.

Skilled in land grading, material hauling, fencing installation, and pasture maintenance to support both hay production and livestock management.

Certified AI & Pregnancy Determination Specialist for Cattle:Recently completed advanced training in Artificial Insemination and Pregnancy Determination, bringing expertise to improve herd genetics and productivity.

Successfully managed 65+ head of cattle, with expertise in daily care, breeding, and herd health.

Specialized in managing unique livestock such as yaks and llamas alongside cattle and equines.

Equine Expertise:

Over 30 years of experience with horses, including colt starting, ground-breaking, and handling ranch horses, racehorses, rope horses, cutting horses, reining, western pleasure, and showmanship.

Technical & Administrative Skills:

Proficient in QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and bookkeeping, with a degree in bookkeeping.

Culinary Skills:

Serv-Safe certified and capable of fulfilling roles as a hunting camp cook or ranch kitchen lead.
