She is the most perfect size for any adult or youth standing right at 14 hands! Snickerdoodle, doodle, or doodle bug has been a family favorite. She’s easy to ride, be around, handle, and easy to love! This little mare is ate up with charm and charisma. Catch her anywhere and do any task you can think of! She is so special! Doodle has been lightly shown, extensively ranched on and has been our 7yr old daughters go to horse for any and everything you can do horseback! This is a fun mare for the ranch riding or boxing classes, she’s also been to some play days and has been rode English! Versatility is Doodles thing! She’s the horse Saylor rides when she tags along with dad for early mornings, gathering and working cows, and in the evenings when we rope the sled Saylor’s always on Doodle practicing! This is a mare with a heart three times the size she is, no matter what we call on her for she delivers and gives her all. Doodle bug has also packed some green riders through the Palo Duro Canyons and at the Canadian River. She is extremely sure footed in rocky or slick terrain. She will ride off alone or with a group it doesn’t matter to her. Doodle is the exception to the mare rule in my opinion, she’s not marish AT ALL. She’s at the bottom of the pecking order and I’ve never seen her so much as lay an ear back. She’s always well mannered and kind. That’s part of the reason we trust this mare so much. In the arena Doodle is an absolute dream. She will jog around smooth and slow, or reach out there and long trot with style. She effortlessly lopes around with an easy to sit cadence. Doddle bug is a horse you can say Whoa to and she will slide to a smooth easy stop. She yields off leg pressure either direction and has cute fun spins. Doodle has also been taught the curb side mount making her even easier to mount from anywhere! She will ride in any kind of bridle, heck she even rides bridle-less! It’s nothing for our kids to curbside her to a fence or trailer and be riding her all over our place bareback with a halter or a string. She’s so willing and wants to please that she’s always up for their shenanigans!
