She has a small star, disconnected strip and snip on her face and has white on all four legs with higher half stockings on the rear and lower pastern and ankle on the front. Her dam, Peponita Stareyed JW aka Bubbles, is a 2008 mare we raised. Bubbles is built stout and yet very feminine with a nice wide forehead. Her mother, Charjody, is a gorgeous 84% NFQHA double bred Two Eyed Jack with him still on the papers. Bubbles also goes back to Babe Cody by Bill Cody. Her sire is Mr Salty Peponita,(100% FQHA), by Peponita. We always said if this filly grows up to look like her mother, have disposition like the Two Eyed Jacks and perform like the Peponitas, she will be an awesome mare; and that has come true. Bubbles was started very successfully under saddle summer 2010. She was a very calm and steady filly and just super nice to have around. Bubbles easily become a go to mare for us here on the ranch. She really grew into herself and knows a cow. Bubbles will get aggressive and get after something but has plenty of rate to her. She is very laid back, but when she is put to a task, she gets the job done and then relaxes afterward. Bubbles is like the energizer bunny that just keeps going and going and never gets tired. She has had 2 previous foals for us both bought by the same repeat buyer, 2015 Whiskey Up Cinch JW and 2018 Germany Bartender JW (which is a full brother to this filly). Del Rio’s sire is Jacks Our Bartender a son of Bartenders Memory by Two ID Bartender and out of a granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack, Watch Miss Jo Jackie, born in 2003. Unfortunately, due to a stifle injury from being kicked by a mare, Jack was not able to stay sound enough to enter the show ring but was able to prove his athletic ability. Since then several of his colts have ended up in the roping arena and continue to prove their athleticism and great minds. By 2015 Hockenson’s realized that he was producing some really great roping horses and decided to see if they could keep his stifle sound enough to show and sure enough in a very short time, he quickly earned 5.5 AQHA Heading Points of his own proving that his offspring accomplishments were not by chance. He is a great horse to be around and out produces himself every time. Jack has 3 AQHA performing offspring. Many of his other foals have gone on to be great rodeo horses or rope horses competing and earning money in different associations. Del Rio had a 2024 bay filly by Top Gun Whiskey, Top Gun Miranda JW, that is for sale. Del Rio is being offered for sale as a broodmare only. She was never started or broke to ride nor is she sound for riding. She can be sold two different ways, exposed to Top Gun Whiskey for a 2025 foal or she can go with her 2024 filly on her side and exposed back to Top Gun Whiskey for a 2025 foal.
