Description:
I’m a seventeen year old looking for a ranch apprenticeship. I have multiple years of riding experience, own my own horse I’d be willing to trailer and work with if needed. I have experience colt breaking and have worked with feral mustangs, and am working on buying a mustang yearling at the moment. I have a very basic knowledge of roping and can lift saddles, feed bags, etc. I spent a nearly a year working for my barn owner and mucking stalls, turning out horses, feeding, bucking hay, carrying feed, etc. I’ve never worked with cows but I’m trying hard to get into them. I have an interest in going into farrier work as well, I’d greatly appreciate any opportunity to even just shadow someone. I’m extremely motivated to work and I truly love doing it. I learn fast and am good at taking direction. I have consistent transportation. I have school from 8:20 to 3:45 pm. Willing to work after OR before. Will be able to get out an hour or two sooner by December if I can snag work study. All my weekends are free. Located in Sedalia, Missouri but willing to travel a ways to get there. I am dedicated and extremely eager to learn. I just need and entry level position. I don’t expect much, I understand taking on a minor with minimal experience can be a burden but I always put in my all. I’ll add my experience to this ad as I earn it.
