Welder/Ranch Hand Wanted – New Plymouth, ID



We’re looking for a hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team in New Plymouth, Idaho. This position will focus primarily (90% of your time) on building and welding oilfield pipe fences, with additional ranch duties to keep things running smoothly. If you’re skilled in pipe fence construction, take pride in quality work, and enjoy being part of a small, tight-knit ranching team, we’d love to hear from you!



Position Details:

• Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with one weekend per month (Cleaning Barn, Calving, Feeding)

• Housing: No housing provided

Primary Duties:

• Building and welding oilfield pipe fences

• Assisting with barn feeding and cleaning

• Working cattle during spring and fall

• Helping with calving

• Transporting cattle and hauling hay

• Constructing and moving Hotwire fences

• Building and maintaining barbwire fences

We’re a small cattle operation focused on raising quality beef while building a strong horse program. We also love to team rope and are newer to the sport, so a passion for ranching and horses is a big plus! Our ranch is a family-friendly environment where teamwork and getting along are essential. We have fun, laugh, and work hard. That’s why we’re looking for someone who is clean, respectful, doesn’t smoke, and uses clean language.



Ideal Candidate:

• Skilled in pipe fence construction and welding

• Experienced with cattle and general ranch work

• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Friendly, with a positive attitude and good sense of humor

• Comfortable with a family-oriented, clean environment
