DESCRIPTION:

Iron Mountain Cattle Company, a family oriented, full time / year-round, Angus herd, cow/calf operation, located in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, is in search of an experienced and dependable Rancher / Farmer, to perform a variety of tasks related to the care & production of cattle and hay.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Daily Herd Management: Oversee a small herd of Angus cattle and yearlings.

Hay and Grain Production: Manage the production of hay and small grains.

Irrigation Management: Responsible for the operation and maintenance of five pivot irrigation system.

Calving Assistance: Support breeding and assist during the calving seasons.

Facility Maintenance: Provide Basic Facility Maintenance & Fence Repairs as needed

Equipment Operation / Maintenance: Safely Operate & Maintain Farming Equipment



QUALIFICATIONS:

Calving Experience - Herd Health and Nutrition

Knowledge of Modern Hay and Feed Equipment

Irrigation / Pivot Management Experience

Self-Starting / Strong Work Ethic

Must Have Valid Drivers License



* Applicant must be motivated, honest, & capable and willing to work in all conditions.
