Cinch is a direct son of Flint (very successful trial dog that goes back to cap) We have raised several litters out of Cinch with several different crosses and have had great results from them all. He is a very high drive dog that was a very natural starter that was one of the easiest dogs I’ve trained (and I’m not a professional trainer/handler). He has great endurance and can work all day long with no problem. Hard accurate bite head or heel. Very gritty and tough! He produces himself very well! Hope- heavy cap bred, proven reproducer when bred to lane and cinch both. This is the Second time breeding her to Cinch, we made the decision after the great results we had from the first litter (including a male we kept for potentially a future stud dog on our ranch, and a female we kept to cross with Lane in the near future). Hope is very smart, very high drive, excellent endurance and loves to work. She was very simple to train and works very well in any environment. She will bite the head or heel hard and clean. Pack leader type female that has a ton of grit. Anyone that knows me knows that the dogs I keep and decide to breed cannot be bought. I’ve been offered insane amounts of money for several of my breeding stock and the thought hasn’t even crossed my mind of letting them go. I will not breed anything that isn’t as close to perfect as I can expect from a dog. We do not raise dogs for the money. My wife and I both do very well in our other careers. We raise dogs to maintain and improve the border collie breed. I’ve seen too many other breeds get scatter bred and ruined and in my opinion will never go back to what they were originally bred for. I always say one of my dogs will take the place of 3 cowboys and they won’t call in sick or come to work hungover. We don’t just breed them to sell puppies (I personally hate dealing with selling puppies to the public). We breed them to make more of what we are looking for and using. We always keep a couple from each litter to either add to the working string or train and sell to people that don’t want to deal with the training aspect but need a dog that will work. I do not pick out “the best one” and sell the rest. I let everyone else have their pick and I keep what’s left. That’s how confident I am in my breedings. We are located in Green City Missouri (cattle country). Price on pups for the rest of this year is $500/each to working homes only. $100 deposit holds your pup. I haven’t raised my prices in years but the cost of quality feed has gone way up as well as everything else. So 2025 we are going to raise the prices a bit to help offset the expenses. (Not a lot). All our pups are on a deworming schedule and will have their first shots before they leave my place. They are also very well socialized as we have young kids that love to play with the puppies.
