Hi, my name is Garrison, and I am from Southeast Kansas area. I was raised on a farm and ranch near Yates Center, Kansas. I am currently attending college in Great Bend, Kansas, majoring in Agriculture with an emphasis in Beef Cattle Production, and I am looking for a part time job where I can utilize my strengths and experience. Back home we run around 350 head of momma cows, around 75 head of replacement heifers, and we own our on grow yard. We do not custom feed, these are our cattle. We farm around 2000 acres of row crops also, mainly corn that we use as feed for our cattle. I interned for a Feed Yard in western Kansas in the summer of 2024 before starting college, so I have experience in that area as well. I can drive equipment, process cattle, I am handy on a horse and believe in hard work. I have done everything from scooping feed bunks to writing feed rations for our feed lot cattle. Any help or suggestions on a part time ranch job that isn’t afraid to hire a college kid would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
