16" Ralph Shimon - Roping/Ranch saddle

This saddle features a 16" hard seat, 4" cantle, 6 3/4" Gullet, FQH bars, rawhide wrapped wood tree, post horn with new leather wrap and new leather rope strap, in-skirt 3-way perfect rigging, monster 14" swells with a beautiful leg undercut, nettles stirrups, round skirt, 4 leather ties, fleece is in good shape, back cinch, new off billet, new latigo, new front cinch, and weight is around 37 pounds.

Okay, cowboys and cowgirls look at this one. Ralph Shimon is a maker you want to notice! He no longer makes saddles and sold his shop many years ago. This is one of his beautiful handmade saddles from Wyoming. Shimon rigs are MONSTERS! These saddles are for a working cowboy that plans on spending long days in the rig. If you can catch it, his saddles will drag it. I’ve never had a Shimon saddle come through with a busted tree or loose horn. These suckers last a lifetime and then some. Also, the ground seat in all his saddles tuck ya in so you’re in the saddle, not on the saddle. His talents for building a working saddle are hard to beat.
