He’s not only a gorgeous palomino but he’s also sane and safe for everyone from 8 to 88. If you watch his video you’ll see he’s up for anything you throw his way. He’s super easy to ride. He neck reins with ease, moves off your leg, pivots and has a big stop. Marty is 200% a tried and true ranch horse. Been there done it and still doing it. It doesn’t matter if you ride daily, weekly or once every two months he’s the same every time you put your saddle on him. He is nice enough that he will suit the cow boss. On the other hand he is perfect for the gentleman rancher that has a corporate 9 to 5 job but ranches on the weekends because he stays gentle in between. There is not one task on the ranch that you can’t call on him for. He’s had thousands of cattle gathered on him. He’s very proficient to drag calves to the fire. You can rope and doctor sick cattle and when you step down he’ll hold your rope tight. You can load trucks on him. He’s also a good one to pony colts off of. He has a big cowboy walk and really covers ground. You can put him in a long trot or a slow lope and he’ll stay at the pace you wanna go. Marty is also a heel horse and has been hauled to some jackpots. He’s good in the box and leaves flat. He runs hard and won’t miss the corner and has a big stop. He scores good. He would make any man, woman or high school kid the perfect rodeo partner. The most perfect thing of all is you don’t have to be a cowboy or a rancher to ride Marty and if you’re just a weekend warrior pleasure rider he’ll suit you too. He’s a phenomenal trail horse and has been ridden all over. He’ll go down the road. He’ll pick his way through brush. He maneuvers up and down hills. He goes through water. He will cross bridges and go over logs. He will ride out alone just fine. Or ride with a group and he doesn’t care where you ride in the pack. Marty is a once in blue moon type gelding that has everything going for him. He’s sweet, broke to death, wears many job hats, beautiful, perfect age, perfect size, registered, very reasonably priced and SAFE.
