Description:
Badger is a well-built gelding who stands 15.2 and weighs 1200 lbs. Badger is incredibly well versed in all aspects of ranch work. He has sorted fat cattle in icy corrals and roped bulls in the pasture. He’s drug countless calves in branding pens and will stand tied to a cow for as long as you need to get the job done. He ground ties well and can be ridden in a rawhide hackamore or a shank bit and tie down. Badger was started on the head side a year ago and has been hauled to a few jackpots this past summer and while not a seasoned rope horse he has handled it well and shows a lot of potential. Badger needs to be ridden regularly and can be a bit rough if he has too much time off, but if you are looking for a horse you can ranch on all day and take to a roping in the evening than this is the horse for you.
