Music has the looks, pedigrees, personality, and training that every body wants. From being shown as a 2 and 3 year old in trail, reining, pleasure, and reined cow classes and placing well in all of them, she’s been used in a drill team, parades, and being started in roping both ends in team roping and in breakaway, all the way to gaming and fun day events. Music is the ultimate been there done that mare at the ripe age of 5. She has been ridden on the trails, open pastures, and absolutely loves water. She side passes, has a beautiful stop and turn around, has a good roll back on her and will work a cow, she has only ever been put on a cow two times in her life and both times were at shows with a novice rider, she is a very push button mare with tons of fun tricks up her sleeve, she even smiles for a treat. She has done lead line with little kids and rides around bareback in a halter or bridle. She is very soft and supple to the bridle and works great off of leg pressure. She does a smooth simple lead change or a beautiful flying lead change, she will go up or down to her riders level. She loves tracking the dummy and would make a bang up breakaway or heel horse for anyone that wants a willing and fast learner. She is a very easy keeper and doesn’t require any special supplements or full feed. She loads and unloads herself in both strait load or slant load, bathes, stands tied not buddy sour but does love company. She stands for the farrier good with both front and back feet. Usually does best with a full set of shoes if being shown, with easy riding she just uses a front set, she has had sliders on and did good with them she will slide about 10 to 15 feet with sliders and 3 to 6 with out sliders, she knows all the fancy buttons, flexes, counter arcs, counter canter, flying lead changes, beautiful collection, makes wonderful shut downs in her turn around, has a beautiful open lope stays collected and makes a beautiful breakdown into a slow lope. Although she is very versatile and easy going where just about anyone could ride her I am not marketing her as a kids horse, an intermediate rider would be just fine but you have to know how to handle a broke horse that has lots of buttons. This mare is one that everyone wants in the barn and it has taken me a long time to make this decision since I have owned her since she was a long yearling. She is so talented and will make someone an extremely nice horse no matter what direction she goes in. She truly puts her whole heart into whatever you ask of her and is a very fast learner and super willing to try anything. She is absolutely priceless to me but life throws curb balls at you and sometimes you have to take the hit, I’m sure I will regret my decision to re-home her and I will never find another horse like her.
