Description:
Cougar is a 14 year old bay mare we are offering for sale. We have used her on the ranch to move cattle. She has absolutely no buck to her. She is only rode a couple times a month or less and she has never offered to buck. I never warm her up. She always rides out nice. This mare has a good handle - one hand neck rein - and she moves around beautifully. She handles herself well and will watch a cow. Cougar has been roped off of and worked the feed yards. She is safe and honest in all speeds. She is a nice mare to get along with and is great to trailride. She is experienced and confident - not spooky at all. She has good ground manners. She leads, ties, loads like one should.



Cougar is not a deadhead, she can get a little hot. She stays sane about it. She has never reared up or been mean about it. If you get after her, she will quit,but she might scare a person that is not confident. My kids (11 and 12) have ridden her and got along great.



This mare has a nice handle, plenty of speed, lots of experience, and will make a hand. She is not spooky or goofy. She is ready to go do a days work or go see the trails. She is fun to ride and good to be around. I will be absolutely honest about Cougar. She is a really nice mare. Text me for more information. Located in Hardesty, Oklahoma.
