Louie is a one-of-a-kind draft cross! He is by the 6666’s stallion CATTALOU, earner of $334,723 and out of a Percheron mare. He is really broke and gentle for anyone.

This big guy is 4 years old, stands 16.1, weighs 1500lb and is a big ol’ sweetheart! He absolutely loves getting attention from anyone he meets and will greet you out in the pasture to get every caress he can get from you. We owned his momma and bred her to get this amazing cross and when he arrived, he was even better then we imagined. Louie has been handled since birth and was a joy to start under saddle in his 2yo year. Just a few short months after being started he was dragging calves. He is super trainable and takes everything with ease. You can turn him out for as long as you like and catch him up, he will be just like the day you got off of him.

He is a perfect gentleman for anyone that rides him from handy cowboy to novice riders. His favorite speed is slow, he’s more whoa than go, which makes him ideal for someone who wants to take it easy and soak in the sights of a trail ride. However, if you need to call on him for a job, whether its pasture roping a calf to gathering cattle and sorting pairs or dragging one to the branding fire, Louie is your guy. This gelding is the definition of all-around and is trustworthy and reliable.

Louie stands for the farrier, bathes and loads and backs out of the trailer. This big teddy bear is 100% sound and clean legged, no scars or blemishes. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
