15.5" Dale Martin - Wade saddle
This saddle features a 15.5" rough-out hard seat, 6 3/4" gullet, FQH bars, rawhide wrapped wood tree, large wade hard wood post horn with new mule hide wrap, rope strap, 7/8 drop rigging, round skirt, 6 long leather ties, 4" cantle with rawhide trim, 6" bell stirrups, back cinch, new front cinch, new latigo, fleece is good, and weight is around 42lbs.
WOW! This saddle is a beautiful rig! If you’re a Martin fan you know what a deal this is. Dale’s saddles new are being ordered for over $5K with a wait time. Dale has set a standard in the industry that is hard to beat. In my personal opinion Dale Martin saddles are probably in my top 5 favorite all time saddles. Fit horses right, ride like a saddle should, last forever, work as hard as you do, and hold their values.
This particular saddle had the stirrup leathers cut. But I’m 6’ and have 10 holes left for adjustment to make longer from where I’m set, and a bunch to go up as well. Not sure why they were made so long but perfect for about anyone.
