Mickey Valentine aka Mickey is one of the most attractive dappled sorrel horses you will lay your eyes on. Mickey is a 15 hand 9 year old Gelding by the great Walla Walla whiz who won over 187k and produced in excesss of 4 million dollars NRHA. Mickey is a NRHA money earner himself and has all the Training and tools to pursue any path you would want to go. This horse is beyond talented but also has the most forgiving and willing mind. Mickey has the classiest lead departures, breath taking circles, fancy and spins fast or slow, your choice, an easy lead change and a huge and thrilling sliding stop. You will just love his light one handed handle! He is a cadillac and there isn’t a more fun horse around.

Mickey is a horse that you can turn out and catch him without a bucket of grain, saddle him and ride off without a single worry! He’s the same horse year round and is willingly to meet you at the gate and get to work everyday.

Mickey has been day worked on and used for all aspects of ranch work. He is absolutely no stranger to a full days work in rough country. Shipping, doctors cattle, sorting pairs, you call on him and he will give you his all and then some.

This rare gem has also been hauled on the head and heel side, he’s also started lightly in the breakaway. He’s got the wheels to make a pretty high caliber horse and the mind and heart to be a winner. He’s stays quiet in the box makes the corner great and has that big fancy stop we all love. On the head side he scores great, he’s the perfect size to win on and he’s got a good move across the pen. This horse wants to do nothing but please, you can point him in any direction and he will go into it with his whole heart. He’s the most rare combination of personality, talent, brains, work ethic, and gentleness. You would be hard pressed to find another like him.

That’s not all! His resume is a lengthy one! We’ve hauled Mickey to some local shows and he is killing it in the ranch riding all the Ranch Versatility classes and is a seasoned pro showing in the reining. This horse is text book easy to prepare and does not require a trainer.

I feel like Mickey could also go the Team sorter route pretty easily if someone wanted. He is easy to operate and has an enormous amount of cow sense.

Mickey has also been known to pack our kiddos around the Palo duro canyons on trail rides and along the Canadian River he is always safe and sure footed and for sure one of their favorite mounts.

Mickey also knows the curbside mount for easy on and easy off. It is hard to find performance horses of this caliber that has this kind of mind and kind demeanor that suit a beginner all the way to advanced riders.
