Introducing Linda! This beautiful dark dappled grey mare stands 15 hands tall with all the shape you can ask for, accompanied by a long mane, forelock and a silver tail! She’s unique in more ways than one, Linda has beautiful rabicono coloring through her belly flanks and a coon tail. This mare gets noticed everywhere we have taken her the last 3 years- she is the total package! Linda has had a solid foundation being used in the feedlot, along with working on a cow-calf operation, she’s done every aspect of ranch work. Dragging calves shipping, sorting you name it she’s done it and done it well. Linda would be a great team penning or sorting horse, she is very cowy, quick on her feet and very gritty. She is genuinely an honest mare, with a big heart and not an ounce of quit. Linda has a full resume when it comes to outside exposure in real world work situations. She crosses water, rough terrain and has seen some country including the Palo duro canyon and in New Mexico. She is 100% sound and has never takin a lame step, her confirmation is flawless and she has substantial foot and bone, she’s truly built to last! Linda has impeccable manners, I’ve never seen her nicker or paw, she will stand quietly, she is easy to trim or shoe, perfect to bath and saddle and honestly goes right in with the geldings, you’d never know she’s a mare by the way she acts. This gorgeous mare tracks cattle with ease and has a quick, deep stop, fancy spins and lopes around smooth she’s a good mover and can long trot out and cover country with the best of them! Versatility is the best part about Linda, our 7 yr old daughter recently has taken up riding English and Linda packed her around like an old pro. Linda has also been over some small jumps and like everything else she’s a natural! This mare is also traffic safe, has been ridden around heavy equipment in the feedlot, loaders, tractors, feed trucks, etc without any fuse or bother. She’s incredibly sure footed in touch country or slick alley ways and is the first pick every time for early morning shipping.
