Compass Cattle Ranch Manager

Compass Cattle is seeking a new Ranch Manager to lead the achievement of the Business Goals of a 20,000 acre ranch operations in south central Montana.

Business Goals:

Compass Cattle raises grass finished cattle and bison to consistently produce the best tasting & most nutritious meat, profitably, with regenerative and low stress livestock management that we can validate. We are committed to a culture of integrity, continuous improvement, total quality control and being a great place to work.

Roles:

Owner- Business Goals, HR & Finance

Ranch Manager-Agreed Operating Plans, Execution & Results Team Members: Agreed Responsibilities & Results

Relevant Experience:

Livestock ranch management, planning & reporting Safe, reliable & secure operations

Team leadership

Regenerative management & low stress stockmanship Cow/calf, stocker & grass finishing operations

Pivot irrigated & native range perennial pasture optimization Data collection, management, analysis

Personal Characteristics:

Integrity, critical thinking, grit

Committed to safety, productivity & continuous improvement Team collaboration & individual initiative
