Description:
Looking for an all-around ranch hand for large cow calf ranch operation. Must be able to handle cattle efficiently and quietly horseback. We are a high-country desert ranch with summer mountain permits. Must be able to work alone and be a team player. Have an understanding of ranching as a lifestyle, and that it comes with long days in the spring and fall. Show up to work with a willing and positive attitude. Semi remote with limited cell service. Must have 3-5 years of experience with large herds. You will need 5-6 good working ranch horses.



Necessary skills:

-Must be able to ride long hours and handle cattle horseback

-Mechanical- basic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, brakes and tires), skid steer and backhoe operation

-Fencing- Build, maintain and repair

-Facilities maintenance- yard, home, corrals, welding, project construction, water and pipeline repairs and maintenance

-Welding and equipment operation

-Must be able to shoe your own horses

- Represent company with honesty and integrity.
