Description:
2010 14hh 900# grade family horse. He prefers to walk or trot but will go if you ask him. He is the definition of a using horse and has had just about every experience a horse can have on the ranch or trails or in the arena. An easy keeper up to date on vaccinations and worming. Because of our sandy terrain and his rock hard black hooves he doesn’t wear shoes but he is routinely trimmed. Now-a-days he is doing what He has always wanted to do, being a teacher and baby sitter for the kids. He does have a few quirks. Mainly playing hard to get in the pasture and doesn’t stand still (for the kids) while be tacked up. As long as an adult or an equally minded kid helps with the process he is good. He is not mean just learned some bad habits along the way. He does good in the arena or round pen and is very patient with kids while they are learning the fundamentals of horsemanship. He picks up the cues from whoever is riding him and responds to both neck and leg pressure and stops when you lift the reins and or sit back. He has been our go to when company comes out and they want to ride out in the pastures.
