This very special guy is a joy to be around in every aspect. And you won’t find one like him on every street corner. Because horses like him are few and far between. He is the true definition of tall dark & handsome. He carries himself with both grace and confidence that turns heads everywhere he goes. If his good looks don’t draw you in. His kind eye and gentle soul surely will.

Houston is the perfect age. Young enough to go any direction. But old enough to have lived some life so there is no funny business to him. He has done all aspects of ranch work as well as started roping out of the box. He is no stranger to a long days work. As my husband works at a ranch full time and is horseback all day. The best way to describe Houston as a ranch horse is dependable, reliable and solid. He is up for anything and never says “no”.

He is incredibly athletic but his talent doesn’t outshine his gentle disposition. He is up for a long days work, or is more than happy to pack the kids around and be a babysitter! He stays nice and soft in the bridle, with a nice head set. But remains forgiving to a green hand or kid.

And although Houston has a more whoa than go and a gentle personality by nature, he has the pedigree to be a top notch performance horse with big names on his papers such as Royal Quick Dash- earning of $1,046,980 and equi-stat barrel offspring with earnings excess if $179,000. As well as Special Effort-earnings of $1,219,949 AQHA hall of fame stallion and first 2yr old ever in history to surpass $1 million in earnings.

The opportunities with him are endless. Take him on to be a head horse, a barrel horse, continue him as a ranch horse, a trail horse or let him pack around beginners or kids. No matter what he does, you will look good doing it.

This is the horse you will talk about for the rest of your life. I know my kids will talk about him for the rest of theirs. He is the kind that can be put to work or help raise and teach your kids. Which is a job he takes just as seriously as being a ranch horse.
